Hox Cafe is a cafe in Hoxton Park with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 500m away, Brownes Farm Reserve is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
I first came here about 2 years ago and had quite a pleasant experience which is why I decided to bring some friends and come back today. Unfortunately the place has changed quite a lot. The service was really disappointing and not up to the level of many other breakfast spots across Sydney. Our waiter was unsure of a lot of things, got our orders mixed up and both waiters honestly just seemed disengaged you had to keep clarifying. Food wasn’t bad so I guess it made it up for it. But there’s something about poor service that really kills the atmosphere when you’re going out with friends.
The burgers were a real treat! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The friendly staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Definitely worth a try. Highly recommend
A great place to have breakfast. Foods really yummy, looks beautiful and well put. Loved the Shashushka and Magic Smash. Staff are very accommodating and pleasant. They did missed one of our items and I had to ask it again but all good.
After coming here plenty of times since they opened, and having eaten a variety of things on the menu, I can safely say this one of my favourite cafes. Staff are friendly and welcoming and service is exceptional. The menu is small but has plenty of variety and everything is cooked perfectly. I have never had a bad meal here, portions are good and price is fair. The coffee is also very good. Definitely will keep coming here!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
