Brownes Farm Reserve is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Hoxton Park where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find shade, drinking water, parking, and toilets, making it an easy spot for a longer outing.
Dogs are permitted on-leash under the NSW Companion Animals Act. Liverpool City Council's Animal Management Standard states dogs must be on a lead at all times except in approved off-leash exercise areas. Dogs are prohibited from rivers and creeks, within 10 metres of playgrounds, and within 10 metres of food preparation areas. This venue is not a designated off-leash area. I am literally in love with this place. A wide range of plays available. Great jogging track where skaters, cyclists, joggers move around and easily complete their daily activities. Football ground, cricket ground basketball field are well maintained. One of the best things is drinking water available and seating area with shades available. You can Exercise with available many machines. The only thing that is missing and really needed is toilets. I frequently visit their with my whole family because everyone has something attractive according to their own requirements. I bet one visit would make you wish to back there again. ❤️👌
Our search for the perfect swing continues.... lots of sections here, cricket ground, batting cages, soccer field, outdoor gym and 2 play areas with a neighbouring wetlands. Downside is the parking structure and bathrooms are closed midweek and midday, making it difficult to get to. Play areas are not shaded meaning little bottoms were burning. Lots of graffiti which was interesting for little minds learning to read. Spider webs on equipment and some rust.
Great open space, clean & on-site parking. Football/cricket/soccer fields, play equipment, picnic tables & scattered chairs. Basketball court too, but shame the ring was boken last week. Toilet facilities closed.
The newly installed out door gym equipment is very useful for exercise and much appreciated. If at least one toilet is left open it would really help.
One of the worst places to play cricket on to be honest. Seems like a cricket ground but the bounce on the pitch is uneven. The grass is bad for diving or even for scoring.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
