Great quality pub fare with an open alfresco style eating area. The staff are very friendly and the specials are great value. Can’t go past the $18 parmi on a Thursday and a $10 pint to wash it down

Local pub feel, with a lovely back deck overlooking Gladesville, Parramatta River, and all the way to Breakfast Point. Ambience is relaxing on the back deck and not excessively noisy, so people can still have comfortable conversations. Food enjoyment, preparation and taste was a little inconsistent as also referenced in other reviews. Their Rump steak (with Diane sauce), veggies, mash and chips were enjoyable - except when asked for medium rare, both rump steak orders came out medium/well done - seems like a repeated problems based on previous reviews. Chefs should recalibrate how they cook their steaks for this classic pub meal(!). Thier Beetroot and pumpkin salad was not enjoyable unfortunately. The salad was tired, wilted and was like a salad bag from Woolies that has been sitting out for awhile. The bacon in the salad was dry and tough, and the grilled chicken was also dry and tough, despite being chargrilled. Would be better for them not serve it on the menu, it takes away from the overall menu experience. Perhaps just focus on a few dishes and do them well. For reference, there is a car park behind the hotel with a back entrance which is very convenient. Overall, enjoyed the relaxing early Saturday night dinner but hopefully the kitchen can improve its menu execution significantly as it is letting down the overall efforts of this local pub feel. If you are in the area, it is worth a visit on a nice day, to support the venue and keep it going within the community. It has potential to keep growing.

Was at the hotel today and had my dinner. Though it took a while for our food to be ready, I got a refill for my drink and a wine for my steak (which was not available after I placed my order). The service is really good and I am more than happy to go back. G The view is nice at sunset too :)

Service is great but the food is average. We come here on Sunday since the kids eat for free. Very quiet around lunch time

got a steak with mash and mushroom gravy; steak was mediocre, mash was extremely watery which made it feel and taste disgusting in the mouth. also we had to wait 30min for our food. staff was very nice tho they offered to check on our food twice.
