I had the chicken katsu curry today. Very filling and one of our favourites is the Wagyu steak with awesome fries and salad. We usually like to sit outside and occasionally bring our dog 🐕

Went here for a brunch catch-up and it was quite busy, but we were still able to secure a table, so yay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and my iced coffee was good. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich. It didn’t look as appetizing as I expected, but the brisket itself was delicious and very tender. I just wish it was shredded or had some coleslaw to add a bit more texture and “bite”. Get it? 😝

Lovely local cafe, friendly owners and staff. I come for their eggs Benedict, it’s great. Only feedback is wishing portions were a little larger & would love sourdough bread with the eggs!

The Bite in Gladesville is one of those cafés that quietly exceeds expectations, delivering food that’s both comforting and well-crafted. The menu has a strong mix of classics and modern café staples—think hearty breakfast plates, fresh salads, burgers, and well-balanced bowls—each prepared with noticeably fresh ingredients. Portion sizes are generous without feeling heavy, and the presentation is consistently neat. Coffee is a strong point here too: smooth, well-extracted, and reliably good across visits. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with a clean, airy layout that makes it easy to settle in whether you’re coming for brunch with friends or grabbing a solo meal. Staff are warm, attentive, and quick to help, even during busier weekend rushes. The service feels genuine rather than rushed, adding to the café’s welcoming tone. Overall, The Bite offers a solid combination of quality food, good coffee, and a pleasant vibe. It’s the kind of dependable local spot you find yourself returning to perfect for anyone who appreciates thoughtful café dining without the pretension.

Good coffee, nice staff (especially Kathy and Amber). Very yummy food. I come by here any time I'm working in the area. Love their corn fritter for breakfast and their cakes are always delicious. Lovely space to sit down and relax.
