Highly recommend this fantastic cafe in Lane Cove. Love the vibe, amazing food & drinks, while the service was top notch and accommodating. Well done 👏 We had the egg & bacon roll with hash brown plus coffees, both were amazing. We will be back!

I visited this café and I was delighted. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was excellent; the staff was very kind and attentive at all times, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for enjoying a nice moment. I would definitely come back and I totally recommend it. ☕✨

Great location and a really nice vibe, especially on a sunny day. It’s a bit small but cosy, and the staff were friendly with good service. The big downside though is the ventilation. The smell from the kitchen was so strong it stuck to my Clothes and Hair — I walked out reeking of oil and ghee. Even people sitting outside mentioned the same issue. The food itself was very oily too. It’s a shame because it could be a great café otherwise, but this is a major problem that really needs to be fixed.

First thing to note about this cafe..the staff! Super friendly and attentive. Lovely lady made sure we had a table where we were happy, provided menus and brought water. You order at the counter which I love, cafes are always smoother running when they do this in my experience. Coffee was delicious and the milkshakes really creamy. We tried the bacon and egg roll, the avocado dish and the beetroot egg dish. All three were really really tasty. They have a selection of muffins, croissants and GIANT cookies to enjoy if you're looking for something sweet.

You can tell they use good ingredients and take pride in their cooking. While the food was great, I noticed the service could use a little improvement. The table wasn't cleaned properly, which was a bit disappointing. It's a small detail, but important for the overall dining experience. The waiters should pay more attention to cleaning the tables thoroughly between customers. However, this minor service issue doesn't take away from the overall quality of the cafe. The food is definitely worth coming back for! With just a bit more attention to detail in service, this place would be perfect. If you're looking for a tasty breakfast spot, Birdwood Cafe is still a great choice. The food quality makes up for the small service hiccups. Tip for the staff: A little extra care in cleaning tables would make the experience even better for customers!
