I love my almond latte from Antonio’s sourdough bakery LANE COVE !!The barista Abba always greets me with his lovely smile. I feel it has a relaxing quiet atmosphere away from the hustle & bustle of the Plaza.Sara is always pleasant & takes time to have a chat . The chef Michael keeps his kitchen spotlessly clean & always says hi!!
No smiles no music no Atmosphere! They stare you down when you walk past! And those windows are filthy.
Very nice food, the staff is lovely and it’s a nice spot to sit outdoors on a sunny day.. good with kids
Always check your receipt, they don't give you itemized receipt and overcharge you little but still...not fair! I asked for the receipt after I paid, it took a while and then I noticed every item was slightly overcharged coffee $4.5 charged $4.7, GF orange cake cost $6.5 showing in the fridge, charged $7. When I asked why, the guy said I applied surcharge for credit card but surcharge is 1.25% so 20c not 70c for my receipt. Small difference but it's about principles! Almost no one asks for itemized receipt. Perfect opportunity! Not going back there for sure. Giving 2 * for service because the young waitress was lovely. PS. it was Saturday so no 10% surcharge for Sunday or Pub Holiday applies. I don't mind paying 4.7 for small coffee but charges should be as per price tags and the menu! My receipt from today attached.
The younger waitress took my order and asked me 3 times for 4 items we ordered and still missed 2. Later another waiter served the missing items with one extra wrap but told us they didn’t charge the wrap and it was free of charge for both. They seemed really confused. I asked twice if they were sure and I was happy to pay the one I ordered (just not the extra one). The waiter said it was okay. Then an older waitress stormed over without talking to me and took away the extra wrap. When we were about to leave, the same older waitress told us sternly that we had to pay the wrap. I asked for the receipt and paid the outstanding amount. I left a comment calmly as “Such a simple order but took us a few round to get right. This is a bad experience.” The older waitress replied “Better luck next time and I’m sorry it’s bad for you.” And dashed off from the shop.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
