It's a nice easy area to walk out ride your bike through. There's not a lot of shade, so make sure you take a hat.
Peaceful retreat in the middle of Sydney. Cumberland Plain Woodland. Beautiful birds and animals. Fantastic for walking and bike rides. Clean facilities. Beautiful.
If you love the peaceful bush with those awesome Aussie bird sounds and the feeling of being the only one's there, this is the place and the locals were super friendly too!
After the fire it is interesting how the native bush is coming back and since they've closed it to motorcycles and dumpers the native animals are coming back but there are way too many foxes there. The volunteers have done a great job cleaning it up. There's still some mongrels that throw rubbish in there though.
My boys love their motorbike riding. We know it as the drop zone. We have been told by police to ride out there although not suppose to ride there but most police won't worry unless you're riding on the roads or if you're told to leave and get out of there -do so. My boys will stay all day riding in the bush, the awesome tracks and jumps. Very peaceful place. One with nature even with the bikes.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
