Nice spot and The Coffee Maker cafe is fabulous. However, I don’t bother walking out to the point. The main track is an easy walk however it’s covered in Madeira weed. The fire trail is poorly marked and I actually got lost. Luckily, no snakes.
Super nice kids playground! Love the idea of having a ship to climb on and run around for kids! Works really well and is quite an attractive concept for kids. The slide is quite bogus though, doesn’t really slide!
Stayed here over the weekend in an Air BNB. Lovely location. Very close to Nelson bay shops and restaurants. Very quiet. Lovely beach. I went down for sunrise and it was stunning. Highly recommend. There's also two Pokémon Go gyms in the area right on the beach.
Not very big but a great place to take to the water, photograph the bay, watch the boats or fish.
