I live across the street, and saw this building formed in front of my eyes all the way from the foundations being laid. Was pleased when finally a coffee shop and mini mart came up. This is now my go-to coffee shop, one of the best in the area. The mini mart is more than a mini mart, you get your daily essentials too. Eggs, Milk, Bread, great selection of drinks, ice creams, and most things. Have saved me many trips to a supermarket just to get one thing. And the best part? the prices are just like supermarkets which is not expected in a mini mart. Weekends we sit in the patio outside, my 3yr old loves the strawberry milkshake, while we enjoy coffee. Always great conversations with the two men that work there - Yas and Mohammed. Edit. Oh and the Thickshake!
Disappointing experience - we went for an Acai bowl in the morning and was charged full price + additional for the Peanut Butter add on. However it was made with zero fruit (which it describes on the blackboard) when I enquired about the lack of fruit (as it was literally acai, sad granola and peanut butter) he said the fruit doesn't arrive until 11am. Seems robbery to charge me full price for a half done product, I was offered nothing in return for the lack of fruit and quite frankly upset at being charged at all for this. Don't waste your time here, better to go to Gordon for a better Acai bowl + customer service.
I loved how half the shelves only had one chocolate in each shelf. I couldn’t find toooo 2 pens I only found one in the tuna isle and the camel balls tasted a bit fishy. I also couldn’t find Fanta and spicy lip balms but the jelly belly cinnamon toast crunch was exceptional making this a 5 sardine star rating (I loved the dancing sardines at the entrance made me feel so welcom) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🐣🪐
I absolutely love coming to this café for their açai bowls — they’re always fresh, delicious, and hit the spot every time. What really makes this place special though is the owner’s kindness. On the rare occasion they’ve run out of something, the owner has always offered a little extra for free, which is such a thoughtful and generous touch. It really shows how much they care about their customers. Great vibes, great food, and genuinely lovely people. Highly recommend!
Went here for a quick bite after working out and some coffee, lucky enough to meet the owner and he was super nice and accommodating! Ordered the Reuben and iced cafe latte and it was filling and tasted super good! 100% recommended! They have gluten free choices as well. Went to buy some snacks too and they have a lot of variety of snacks + my favorite ice cream ben and jerry! I recommend this place to sit and have some coffee/food while browsing for some groceries.
