Browns Lagoon is a park in South Albury where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
This is a nice park/lagoon in Albury. There's bbq facilities with seating areas and nice clean wash rooms/toilets around. Free parking is available on site too. It's not too far from the city centre and a great place to relax, unwind, especially after a long drive for the visitors. There were plenty of different species of birds, ducks, etc. But the water appeared to be rather muddy with the presence of algae! Overall, however, it's a nice place to visit.
Down in South Albury is this lovely little park/lagoon/BBQ spot. There are tables and chairs. Clean and user friendly BBQ plates. Lots and lots of birds. Toilets are clean and decent. Parking is easy and lots available. It’s large and has a walking track through it and is a safe peaceful walk to enjoy. Good for families too.
Beautiful little hidden gem of a walk in south Albury, honestly had a lovely time, plenty of shade and way quieter than you would think considering all the trucks around the area! Nice cool breeze with heaps of places to stop and have a rest or just sit down and enjoy the relaxing view. Definitely a walk I would go on again, only wish there was a path the whole way around the lake!
Lovely this time of year , just 👀 out for snakes cos there looking for water , that doesn't mean don't go there cos I go there alot and have never seen one . Great place to take Ur partner for a picnic.
