Billson Park is a dog-friendly park in Albury with plenty of shade. Just 550m away, Iconic Coffee Van is a nearby spot to stop in after your walk.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at this park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act, dogs must be kept on a leash in all public areas except designated off-leash zones. Albury City Council has five designated off-leash areas — visit council's website for locations.
Playground equipment is very dated considering its pretty much central location. The old clown swing is a favourite for the kids. Could really do with some more modern equipment though, the stuff looks like it's from the early 90s. The grass area is lovely, plenty of shady trees, BBQ, a community garden, the oval. I enjoy the space.
It's a nice park with good equipment. The clown swing is like one I went on as a kid and is great fun for kids. It also has a BBQ and tables.

well...... i feel like i should write something positive but finding something positive was the least of my problems. i entered the playground and immediately saw a girl on the horse ride i told her she was too big, she then accused me of fat shaming her then later thin shamming her. i was late to the rest of my party because of these few fellows. luckily a nice man in black helped get my bearings, he took me to his shed and told me where i was after he took off the blind fold. all in all great experience
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
