Retro Lane Cafe

Had a wonderful coffee this morning and was greeted by two really friendly people making coffee. Coffee came out quickly and was the perfect drinking temperature. The space itself it very roomy with indoor or outdoor seating. A great spot with a great view of QEII square.

The food, absolutely brilliant. I had a chicken burger and it was the best chicken burger I have had in a very long time. Served with a perfectly portioned and delicious side of chips. The staff here, amazing. Super helpful with dietary concerns. They even accommodated our dog by being out some water. The atmosphere was perfect when I visited. I would good so far as to believe it would be perfect at any time If you haven't made it down to this place yet I highly suggest you make the time.

Had a fun lunch at the retro with the kids for school holidays. It was busy, reasonably priced and the service was great. I have dietary requirements and they made sure to accommodate me.

Such a lovely and relaxing cafe to take your kids! The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Service can be slow but the food is hearty and filling, and the coffee is great! There is a toy box for the kids, pool table, arcade game and football table. Relaxed atmosphere and nobody minds while the kids play and have fun. Definitely a place to relax with your kids.

Thankyou to the friendly staff at Retro. Nothing is ever an issue when dealing with them. Food is fantastic and service is fast. Events staff on school holiday programs were amazing!!! Kids had a fantastic time. Retro is a lovely safe space for children to enjoy and a handy meeting point for parents. Well done all.
