A beautiful place in the town of BOWRAL to go out for picnic. Park has bbq plates, shades and clean toilets. You can walk on the tracks and enjoy beautiful view of lake while enjoying the food. Parking is free and spots are easily available.
Sweet place for a stroll. Kids can play and ride bikes and scooters, be respectful keep to one side. There's an easy bushwalk from the north side. Play equipment pretty good for little kids. Lots of wildlife and duck poo haha everyone feeds them.
We love this place! It is an amazing spot to stop for a break. The nature is incredible—extremely tall, shady trees and lots of birds wandering freely on the grass. We grabbed one of the covered picnic tables overlooking the lake and the fountain, which was perfect for lunch. The paved paths are lovely for a stroll and the facilities are clean. A hidden gem.
Beautiful spot, such a great hidden treasure to stop for a coffee (station house a few minutes away) and stretch our legs. A few families with tiny ducklings too, that was a bonus 🦆😍
Always love coming here, whether for a walk around the lake, eating lunch in the car if it's cold, or in good weather on one many picnic tables or the ducks or playground with my granddaughter. Sometimes you can see turtles. Different in every season. Just beautiful.
