Just died and gone to heaven. This creme brulee croissant was divine. Full of smooth creamy custard, surrounded by delicious crispy pastry. Nice coffee. Good value for money and lovely service. Highly recommend.

Gumnut Patisserie, Bowral is a must-visit spot for anyone who loves quality pastries and great coffee. Despite being quite busy when we visited, the staff were incredibly attentive, well-organised, and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We ordered a cappuccino, and it was really nice—smooth, well-balanced, and comforting, exactly what you want to pair with pastries. Speaking of pastries, everything we tried was full of flavour and clearly made with care. Each item tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. A special mention goes to the little palmier, which was absolutely delicious. Perfectly crisp, buttery, and lightly sweet, it was easily a standout and something I’d happily go back for again. Overall, Gumnut Patisserie lives up to its reputation with excellent coffee, flavourful pastries, and attentive service even during peak times. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Bowral or nearby.

This was one of the best patisseries I’ve been to. I’m not from the area but this was one of the main places I’d been very keen on trying, and I must say it most definitely met the hype. I enjoyed it so much I had to visit the following day! Thank you for the excellent service, delicious food and great experience!

The food here lives up to the hype. We stopped in for lunch and the pies were some of the best I've ever had—flaky pastry and really rich fillings. Grabbed a few sweet treats for later too (the vanilla slice is amazing). A classic country bakery experience done perfectly.

They were good pastries, the ones I picked - ham and cheese croissants and vanilla slice. Ham and cheese croissant was superb, flaky, savoury, even warm… and the vanilla slice was at the less sweet side with excellent flaky pastry and sweet icing went really well together. I’d like to try cakes as well, as they look amazing. But I don’t think it’s worth that hype and the queue…. No where to sit down to enjoy the pastry, and it’s just pastries…. I was lucky got in there at 9 oclock in the morning without any queuing but by 10 am, it was already so long. Well, individual choices I guess. But they have shops at Mittagong and Berrima… and there was no queue when I drove to Berrima in the afternoon same day.
