Crosslands Reserve is a park in Hornsby Heights. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed.
Very nice place to do camping, we enjoyed our time there. There were no showers, but toilets are clean. Lots of shades to do camping and less crowded compared to other places we have been given that it was a long weekend.
Stunning view. Quiet area with clean toilets and plenty of parking. There are BBQs and enough shaded spots. It would be great if people avoided using solid-fuel barbecues, as they burn the ground — it’s really sad to see.
Spent 2 nights camping and had such a good time. The weather wasn't good, but we made the best of it. Great place to get away from devices and back to nature, without having to drive for hours. Bbq amenities were good, toilets were clean, really nice council workers doing their job. We will definitely be back. (Caught alot of eels, not much else in the way of fishing). Alot of great wildlife
You can walk from Mt Kuringai station to reserve Or drive to reserve via Hornsby height. Be careful with slippery track if raining recently. Have plenty of space for picnic and kids play area and barbecue . You can kayaking if interested. Check HK council for more info.
A nice spot for kayaking or for having a picnic by the river. Water levels change drastically during the day (higher water levels in the morning, light currents during the day and low water levels in the evenings). Perhaps due to sea activity. Water is salty too but mostly clear. We noticed some fishing and after the current is low fairly large fish too we’re visible. If you like hiking there are plenty of nice trails that runs by the river too. Some lookouts as well. Camping is possible too. Flat grounds with soft grass and well maintained sites.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
