Water Vista Cafe

A HUGE thank you to Kyra and the entire Water Vista team at Berowra Waters! We recently held our wedding reception there and we’re still blown away by how beautifully everything came together. Throughout the planning process, Kyra made us feel completely looked after. She was responsive, thoughtful, and always had helpful suggestions that made the whole experience feel easy and exciting rather than overwhelming. On the day, the café looked absolutely breathtaking. We had 36 adults and 12 children, and every single guest commented on how stunning the space was. The atmosphere felt loving, intimate, and fun. We had organised a few games inside for the kids table, and the team generously added more from the café’s own collection, which transformed indoors into such a playful and fun vibe. It was those thoughtful touches that made us feel so cared for. They even incorporated my visual wedding theme into custom meal cards for each place setting so everything tied together perfectly. The food was absolutely perfect — I mean 100%. So many compliments from guests on the nibbles, platters, entrees, mains and dessert. I wish I could re-live that day every day. You guys really need to fix your service and prices. Your cafe has the potential to be really good, but it just seems like a money grab. $29 for a chicken burger? No butter and not very hot at all. The burger in no way justifies $29. Bacon and egg rolls aren’t made very well too.. no butter or sauce, just a strip of bacon and egg chucked on a roll. It’s a shame because we’re locals, we would be dinning at your cafe if the food was better and prices were right, but we and others I know just don’t bother anymore. You really need to re assess what you’re doing.

The atmosphere is just ok. The food is horrible. I ordered salt and pepper squid it took so long to arrive. No wonder it's toasted can't even bite like a stone. The squid was covered with thick over cooked flour can't even taste the squid. My hubby ordered wagyu burger, bro in law ordered chicken burger, sis in law ordered chicken salad all over cooked. All of us were dissapointed. We are not going back there again. Not recommwnded at all.

Our experience was excellent from the moment we arrived. The decor & fitout is unique and lovely and reason alone to go here the 1st time. Prices reasonable and menu has broad appeal. We had lunch - Mango Smoothies, Sweet Potato fries & Pumpkin salad with chicken snitzel. Yum. You can't go wrong.
