Hornsby Park is a well-regarded dog-friendly park where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find shade and drinking water nearby.
Dogs must be on a leash in all public places unless in a designated off-leash area. Keep your dog in sight at all times. Pick up and dispose of all waste correctly. Do not let your dog rush at or harass other dogs and people. Source: Hornsby Shire Council – Off-leash dog areas (hornsby.nsw.gov.au).
A shaded park a short walk from Hornsby Station & the Aquatic Centre. Facilities for BBQs, drinking water, picnic tables, playground and play equipment. I wish the playground was an adventure playground, as it incorporates older children and is more exciting.
Australia Day 2025. Thank you Hornsby Council, for Sausage Sizzle and Coffee early on Australia Day! Great start to the day.
Nice spacious park with a number of benches spread out under mature trees providing shades. Closer to the road, there's an area with roses, lavenders and other flowers. On weekend mornings, there's a group of people practising Chinese TaiChi and Swords by the aquatic centre.
A great place maintained by the council. Always clean and a perfect place to meet others.
Best place for everyone.. Amazing motor bike track.. Walking track in the mountains full of greenery..
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
