Boronia Park is a dog-friendly park in Epping with plenty of shade.
Dogs are permitted on-leash under the NSW Companion Animals Act. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. Dogs prohibited within 10m of playgrounds and play equipment. Check on-site signage for any additional restrictions.
The park offers good shade, however, there are limited facilities suitable for older children. It is more appropriate for children around 2–3 years old.
Secret little park near Coles parking lot, a 6 minute walk from the Epping train and metro station. The park is quiet, secluded, some parts are a bit sloped and there are a lot of rock pigeons and some brush turkeys around. Good place to take your kids and dog for a walk. Also serves as a memorial for the fallen heroes of Epping.
Nice grounds with a number of play areas for kids to enjoy. A small bike track suitable for younger kids. Shady areas, a number of covered tables make it pleasant during the warmer months. I could only find limited roadside parking. A lovely walk in from the road via a flowered laneway was pleasant. There's a sports oval up top that older kids could use to run around in to burn off some extra energy. Climbing ropes on a pyramid might be challenging for the very young but suitable for older preschool kids and above. No cafe nearby though so bring your own.
Beautiful park for jogging and enjoying the fresh air... Good place for meditation also, and to have a chit chat with friends...
First time landed and stalled in Epping. The park that I visited was boronia and it didn’t disappoint. You can spot amazing bird life. Kookaboora , cockatoos, lorikeets. Fabulous stress relief to walk in solitude and listen to bird songs. Kids have small playground to play.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
