The staff were friendly and the coffee was good, but I was disappointed that they gave me a large size without asking. In China or Korea, people often drink larger sizes, but as someone who doesn’t like large coffees, this could be upsetting. A large size usually costs more as well. Other than that, everything was good. I would appreciate it if you could ask about the size next time.
If you're in Epping and on the lookout for a fantastic coffee spot, look no further than this vibrant café! Conveniently located near the metro, it’s the perfect place to grab a cuppa to fuel your work or host a casual meeting. The atmosphere is always refreshing thanks to the cool air conditioning, making it a comfortable retreat on hot days. The highlight here is undoubtedly their house blend, SQAB, crafted by the Reformatory Caffeine Lab. Sourced from Colombia, Ethiopia, and Java, this coffee offers a delightful experience with tasting notes of rich caramel, tart raspberry, and silky cocoa. It’s a true pleasure for the palate and certainly ranks among the best coffees in the area. Must try is the iced coffee, which is perfectly refreshing and a must try, especially on hot days! Be prepared for a bustling vibe, as this café tends to attract a crowd, which is a testament to its quality and appeal. Overall, I highly recommend checking it out if you're a coffee lover or just in need of a cozy spot to unwind in Epping!
$49 for two avocado toasties to takeaway is wild. Each toastie was just one slice of bread, and the chicken was chewy and processed, which was really disappointing given the price. On the positive side, the service was fine and the venue itself is lovely. However, based on the food quality relative to the cost, I wouldn’t return.
Super cute cafe! Everything was so fresh and delicious including the pastries. Cute decor and really great service, will be coming back often :)
Came here a second time, this time for studying/dine in. Stayed for around 3 hours. Great service by the 1 Korean staff member who seemed to be working alone the whole day. Had a weak oat mocha served very hot and pork toastie which was absolutely delicious! Coffee was good too just different than I’m used to (usually drink Starbucks). The staff offered me if I would like another coffee a while after finishing my lunch which was nice. The cafe: had a very clean minimal look and lots of natural lighting (good for studying). It would be nice if they could put some pillows for comfort and decoration on the wooden bench seating as it can be a little uncomfortable for long sitting periods. Although there is a couch seating option in the opposite corner but was occupied when I went around 12. The pricing: I spent a total of $30 including coffee. The toasties might be a little expensive for some but at the end of the day I was happy to support my local cafe. WI-FI: Free WI-FI available. Easy to scan the code in cafe with your phone to join and share password with other devices. Cafe Suggestions: I don’t believe there is any loyalty system at C’est Bon yet so if this is true, it would be nice to have a coffee card. Overall great experience and will be back on my next day off!
