Charlotte's is a cafe in Pennant Hills where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
Barristas Juju and Denni are friendly and welcome you by name, make I think one of the best coffees in Sydney for a reasonable cost and so efficient. Wish it was a bigger site with more seating.
"If you can read properly, the stamp is only for hot coffee." It's the first time I've ever seen an ice latte doesn't count. The coffee is not bad but the plastic cup is smaller than that of other shops.
Disappointed with the customer service. Today I visited and noticed that they had 3 different coffee sizes. I asked for one of the small and one of the regular. Two small coffees came out and I was confused as I had specified two different sizes. The ladies went on to explain that small and regular were the same and that the other sizes had different names. Noting the size demonstration cups weren’t facing outwards and it wasn’t possible for I see the size names. The ladies laughed at me when I explained that I clearly wanted two different sized orders. I asked for a regular and they said I’d have to pay again. Never again.
I actually wanted to eat something but since all tables were full and I had to go to work, I couldn't wait, so I got a strawberry milkshake. Now I see a milkshake as fruit blended with milk but I am pretty sure that this shake has never touched a real strawberry. It tasted like pure chemistry. If you only use flavour instead of real fruit than please use a better one. This rather tasted like overly sweet strawberry cheesecake made in a factory. Worst milkshake I had in a long time. The café itself was beautiful though and the personnel was nice. My food rating goes from one to three stars because the "Smashed Avocado" was really good, just lacking a bit of salt. But the amount of avocado was generous and the cheese was delicious. There was some kind of herb-oil on it which tasted fabulous!
Not so flat, flat white. It had a cappuccino worth of foam. However the taste is nice - I do love Campos coffee. It's maybe slightly milky for a flat white but when it's in a keep cup some baristas will accidentally overfill. In terms of gluten free offerings cakes were quite obvious. Three were in the main fridge with everything else, so that's more of a cross contamination risk for coeliacs. However two items, the friands (various flavours) and the fig nut grain bar were stored separately and covered. This would be the best option if you're sensitive or allergic. Don't forget to ask for clean tongs. 👌 The staff were very friendly and the service was prompt.
