Peel Park is a dog-friendly park in Belmore. Just 550m away, Bakehouse Cafe is a nearby spot to stop in after your walk.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Peel Park, a Canterbury-Bankstown Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under the effective control of a competent person, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
Nice enough park, but the play equipment is quite weathered or broken (one side of the see saw has no handles). The swings have no shade. Time for an update
Peel park is one of the most widely used parks I've been to and it is neglected. The plantings are old, the mulch is old. I think it deserves some TLC from Canterbury Bankstown Council
Beautiful quiet park. Very well maintained. Excellent for young kids learning to ride bikes because of the spacious concrete pathway. Play area, nice benches if you want to just sit and read, a nice area with table for a picnic.
Good place to take a fresh Breath. Small park but Can spend good time with your kids.
I am near to Peel Park. Very boring and we can't see any kids at the park most of the time. Yes major upgrade is required to spend with kids. Plan somewhere until the park is upgraded.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
