What people say
HISTORY To commemorate the relationship Koshigaya park and Campbelltown park were both constructed in 1984. This is due to Campbelltown signing a Sister City agreement with Koshigaya City Japan in 1984 and what started as an agreement has developed into a more meaningful relationship. With a range of exchange programs and activities taking place over the years, the Sister City bond has evolved, giving residents of both cities a global perspective on cultural connections through the values of friendship, respect and harmony. There's a playground, history boards, plaques, picnic tables, bbq area, amenities and tree 🌳 lined walkway.
Its a good little park, always green and charming. I have seen NYE fireworks there a couple of time. A lot of swings and slides for kids. Park is very well maintained with lush green grass all around the year. Plenty of parking around and good things is, a lot of restaurants around.
Fun equipment for the kids but the most filthy playground I've seen. Litter was everywhere and included dirty nappies on the ground!
Chill Fest Review: The event was full of fun, especially for the kids — they had an absolute blast! However, I found the ride prices to be quite expensive for what was offered. That said, seeing my kids happy and enjoying themselves made it all worthwhile in the end.
Beautiful and well maintained. Great play area for kids including wheelchair swing. Lots of undercover tables and chairs as well as lovely shady trees to picnic under. Bathrooms are clean enough but do not have soap so make sure to bring sanitiser. There is a water refill station which is handy and lots of open grassy areas. I like that there is a no ball games area to ensure picnics are undisturbed. There are barbecue facilities too.
