Brigade Park is a local park at Bardia with a playground, BBQ facilities and open grass. Dogs are welcome, with a designated off-leash area and on-leash areas elsewhere, so it is worth checking the on-site signage for the boundaries. It is an easy, family-friendly spot for a walk and a run. A handy local park with an off-leash section.
Dogs are permitted on-leash under NSW Companion Animals Act. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. Dogs prohibited within 10m of playgrounds and play equipment. Check on-site signage for any additional restrictions.
Great for kids and adults. Exercise equipment and track. BBQ facilities. Large open space with wooded area. Flat and hilly in one area. Kids equipment is good quality and diverse.
My daughters and I had a great time at this park. It is not the biggest park but between the workout equipment and the playground we had a ball. Nice place for a quick play date or a lunch too.
It's a nice park but it can get cold in Winter as the western treetops block the setting sun. Not great for sunsets or enjoying a slightly brisk evening. Bring a jacket.
Very nice, but council should install some light inside the park. Street light not sufficient at night.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
