What people say
I had a terrible experience here today. We were seated directly opposite the kitchen, and what I saw was honestly stomach-turning. The chef prepped our entire order without any gloves, touching every single component with his bare hands. I watched him crumble cheese onto my smashed avocado using his fingers, and then—worst of all—he took a “poached” egg out of a microwave and plated it using his bare hand instead of a spoon. He cut strawberries for my son’s French toast then proceeded to eat one off the plate! The service was just as bad. The lady taking our order was incredibly rude and hostile from the start. I only stayed because I was with my kids and didn't want to cause a scene, but the lack of professionalism was shocking. The most telling part? A big man walked in (presumably the manager or owner) and the entire energy changed instantly. Suddenly, the chef snapped on blue gloves. This proves they know the health standards; they just choose to ignore them when they think no one is watching. Between the microwaved food, the lack of basic hygiene, and the rude staff, I will never be back. Parents: save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about food safety
Ordered 2 cappuccino large got 2 small Ordered toast for 2 got 1 and a half slices. Making 3 half slices between 2 people.!! Couldn't get to the total bill from the menu. Gave up and walked. Not a good experience. Quality of food and drinks however was OK.
Pancakes I was delivered via uber eats. Absolutely charred and was unable to eat. You would have had to have known it was burnt. So disappointed
The cashier ordered the wrong item and charged me extra for the wrong one - didn't apologise when I brought it back, and only refunded me 50c not the full $2 because apparently their menu pricing was incorrect. The Babychino I ordered for my son was 95% foam with a dribble of milk in the bottom - he couldn't even drink it. The smoothie I ordered was served with the smallest single straw - not even possible to drink from, so ended up trying to drink a very thick drink from the cup directly - normally this wouldn't have bothered me, except it was the 3rd issue with the 3rd item I'd ordered, and it didn't even taste nice. Very unimpressed with the level of service from Coffee and Co. Will not be returning.
Great coffee and service! Was pleasantly surprised. Try the open melts! They also have good juice options for the kids, when many cafes don’t.
