Herbert's Hill Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Elderslie.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times in public places except in designated off-leash areas. Dog owners must clean up after their dogs. The maximum number of dogs that may be under one person's effective control is four. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment, food preparation/consumption areas, public swimming pools, schools, kindergartens, sports grounds during organised activities, and wildlife protection areas. Maps' location is not accurate, beautiful view from the top but definitely not a place for a picnic. There is a mob of magpies who seem used to people feeding them, they act like seagulls on a beach with much more intelligence and intimidation.
Just beautiful. I ride my electric bike along the bike path and the house on the hill is from the pages of a storybook.
A barren hillside now cleared of scrub. The final section of the Camden to Narellan pathway snakes over the hill through this reserve. Views over the valley.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
