Cudgegong Waters Park is a cafe in Cudgegong. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog.
Cant say we really admired the visit to cudgegong park last weekend. We booked in one and half moths ago and we had 7 families including 6 kids and a toddler joined the camping trip. We all live in sydney but during the past 2 months we visited the park 2 times while driving pass by. There were few families enjoying the water and doing water sports and we decided we should visit the park as our next adventure. We booked in earlier, spending nearly $650 for the 2 night visit and we booked unpowered site. On long weekend for australian day we all came to the location to find out the place was packed to the brim with tonnes of people. We couldn't find a spot anyhere closeby to the rivers. So we decided to go and speak with reception. They said for the long holiday over 500 families visited, most of them are day trippers. We were told to go to the other side of the park where we setup the tents without any other option. Toilets were far away, bins were full and we had to carry the waste bags so much distance which actually was pain in the ass. There suppose to be a certian area dedicated for the people who booked in prior otherwise whats the point of spending so much money and waiting for weeks? We could have spend the entrance fee and come on the same day without prior booking because they say they are not offering dedicated spots for people who book earlier. We wouldn't visit this place again. Kids had high hopes spending some time in the water but untimately we had to drive 45mins go find someplace else to spend some water time.
Winter camping isn’t for everyone. -3* in the morning but glorious sunny days. If you want beauty of nature, it’s here! You want to camp but still have showers & toilets? It’s here. Our camp was kinda basic but there are powered sites & cabins if you prefer. Had a fabulous week here. Restful & relaxing while drinking in the views of the lush surrounding hills from the lakes edge. A great place for families & plenty of amenities. I’d come here again. Very reasonable prices too.
First time here, and first time camping. Its not me though my husband absolutely loves camping. So i decided to tag along. I really enjoyed the surroundings, though i did not like the muddy lake waters. But great experience regardless. 👍
Amenities were clean and shower temp hot - no complaints there. 🙂 View was lovely but difficult to find flat ground that wasn't on a slope and on top of other people.
a fantastic spot right on the water. it's beautiful with lots of birds very little road noise and staff that go the extra mile. sites are not flat but easy to get in to. most were not strictly marked. facilities are clean and in good condition. the camp kitchen was very comfortable. this place will get crazy in the summer but was almost empty in July. they allow campfires and have great campfire wood on site cheap.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
