What people say
Great for dogs, well maintained dog park and waters edge. Toilets near the river, fresh water taps for dogs and BBQ’s right in the riverfront.
What a beautiful area to just stop and take in the views of Clarence River or have a picnic and BBQ. Toilets are up a rise but can drive up to them. Spotless,BBQ areas are covered , paved/concreted and easily accessible for wheelchairs or mobility scooters. Lots of shade trees and plenty of additional picnic tables.
A major shortage of these considering the size of the park & river frontage. Maybe 4 available where three would easily be room for 44. Beautiful big river running right through town. UNFORTUNATELY the lack of accessible if any areas to sit or enjoy are VERY, VERY FEW N FAR BETWEEN... Ridiculous really. I'd rather travel 30-45 minutes west & an abundance of river frontage with Absolutely Excellent Access & more than enough shade. Plus the bonus of being able to free camp. Lilydale & Cangai we love you. Next step would be the Gorge, Fabulous
Civilised picnic & swimming & fishing and Watersports parkland adjacent to Scouts Clubhouse
Corcoran Park is a great park for families and lots of people use it however we had our car vandalised while out boating as it is remote from neighbours and in quiet times people are distanced from each other.
