Walshaw Park is a dog-friendly park in Bass Hill.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Walshaw Park, a Canterbury-Bankstown Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under the effective control of a competent person, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
It's a beautifully maintained ground, which has benches for sitting a filtered water tap Cricket training Nets, bathroom for ladies and men football Nets, basketball provisions and enough parking space at the backside. Located in bass Hill, places where Sikh games football events happen.
Huge park with great maintained grass. There are toilets but as usual they are locked so 2 stars taken away. Easy access parking, proper fencing and nice and local.
Big fields for cricket, a pitch for playing, a small playground and restrooms, which are opened only on request. There are also cricket nets in the park. Bit of a rowdy place, with kids riding ebikes and escooters in the middle of playing fields, not well maintained, with the goalposts broken. Don't recommend 🤷♂️
Bass Hill Rangers FC home ground. Small play ground for the little ones. Has 2 cricket nets.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
