Apex Reserve is a park in Bankstown. Dogs are generally allowed on a lead in NSW public parks unless signs say otherwise — but the rules here aren't confirmed, so check local signage before visiting.
A small park with basic play equipment for children. Parents would need to keep a fairly strict eye on kids because the park is flanked by a couple of really busy roads. The park is notable for not having a single flat spot, so I wouldn't plan to play a (fair) soccer game there. Even the "7 Explorers Track" history sign has settled at an angle.
Beautiful views! Not very well kept, there was litter everywhere and the grass was too long. A bit if uneven ground so kids can't run around with ease.
Nice place to seat and take in the view of Lucas Heights and the whole of Menia and Sutherland area. But now the view is almost gone by overgrown trees in the way. Also I believe Canterbury-Bankstown council should fix the lighting surrounding the remembrance flag pole so I can standout at night in honest of the rememory. Also the park is good to take your kid on the weekend by foot if you live local to use the play equipment.
Google thought that I'd visited this park because I spent so long waiting for the lights to change onto Hume Hwy. I'm sure it's a lovely place!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
