Northcote Park is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Greenacre where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find BBQs and toilets nearby.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Northcote Park, a Canterbury-Bankstown Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under the effective control of a competent person, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
Had a great time at this park with my toddler. Definitely visiting again for a picnic. Intend to use the BBQ there. Great playground and a gym for everyone. Table for table tennis. Walking tracks with distance covered marks for kids to race on.
The park has opened!! The junior playground's softfall is still waiting to be paved but everything else seems to fall into place. I really like the pingpong table and the greenwall of the toilet (hope it can be maintained well in the future). All the turf looks fresh and old brick walls have been replaced. Ppl already start to use basketball court. The junior playground equipment is not the original choice and the style doesn't match the senior one. Also the two seats at the front should be aligned with the new wall. Now they look like two defenders of the park lol. One seat and one tree near the gym area needs to be installed. Anyway, thanks all the construction team and people who help upgrade this park.
This park is very well catered for everyone. The kids play area is newly refurbished and there is also an outdoor gym area. There are many shaded eating areas within the park, however the park can get quiet dirty. This is due to the lack of garbage bins located around the park.
Nice and small , walking tracks basketball playground, table tennis -ping pong, open gym for adults.
