A corridor of land between houses & motorway. - Single entrance gate with no secure way to unhook lead or prevent other dogs escaping. - 5ft fence at front, 6ft fences at sides - Plenty of seating, shade from tall trees & grassed area. - Some agility equipment - Single tap at entrance requiring buckets to be carried to actual play area. - Poo bags provided & bin @ play area - No lights, no toilet Overall impression - lovely people & dogs but facility is a bit feral. Grass at halfway point to rear of corridoor allowed to grow amongst fallen branches & rubbish (significant snake risk), fences on residential side have gaps for dogs in park to provoke dogs behind fence & no shelter from rain. 7/12 - Dog Park Critic

Good synthetic cricket pitch ground. Fast outfield. There are exercise equipment around the ground. Toilets are available but not sure if it’s open all the time. There is a playground as well.

Bennett Park is a peaceful and well-kept green space tucked away in Eastwood. It’s a lovely spot for families, walkers, or anyone wanting a quiet break from busy streets. The open grass area is perfect for picnics or casual ball games, and there’s a small but decent playground that’s great for young kids. The park is usually clean and has a calm atmosphere, with a mix of shaded and sunny areas. It’s ideal for morning strolls or just relaxing on a bench with a coffee. Some parts could use a bit of maintenance—especially the walking paths and seating—but overall, it’s looked after reasonably well. There are no cafés or public toilets within the park, which slightly limits its convenience, especially for longer visits or family outings. Parking is also limited during school hours due to nearby residential streets. Still, it’s a great local spot for a quick escape to nature or some light outdoor time. Not a destination park, but a valuable part of the community.

Good park with 2 synthetic wicket ovals, batting cages and a kids play area. Lots of parking nearby. Quiet roads. Roselands shopping center is a short drive.

One of tue beautiful grounds for cricket, football and rugby. Net practice for hard ball also present.
