Disappointing experience this morning – missed my train because of a lost order. Queued up for a simple takeaway coffee, ordered and paid by card. After waiting nearly 20 minutes I asked about my order and was told they couldn’t find it in their system. I immediately showed the bank transaction on my phone as proof of payment, but staff still refused to start making the coffee until they’d fully checked everything first. By the time they confirmed it was their system error and rushed the drink, the coffee was average and I’d already missed my train (another 30-minute wait). Suggestion: when a rushed customer shows proof of payment and says the order has been lost, just start making it. You can sort the till later – it’s only $7. Prioritising procedure over basic common sense turned a minor glitch into real inconvenience. They did apologise afterwards and gave my daughter a marshmallow (appreciated the gesture, but would’ve been good to ask the parent first). Not terrible people, just a rigid process that clearly values protecting a few dollars more than customer time and satisfaction. Won’t risk it again when I’m on a schedule. EDIT: IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S REPLY TO THE ABOVE COMMENT Unfortunately their explanation doesn’t match what actually happened from my side, and more importantly, it completely sidesteps the main issue I raised. 1) I was 2–3m from the till, in clear view of both the cashier and barista, watching the whole time. No one ever called out “large soy cappuccino.” The only similar call was “large soy latte,” which is why I kept waiting. I WAS NOT hiding behind the column at all and there are many times the staff went pass me. 2) No staff member ever informed me that another customer had taken my drink. I only found out just now from their feedback. 3) The marshmallow was handed to my daughter immediately after I said “We’re going to be late because of this” while standing at the counter. Doing it at that exact moment made it feel very much like an apology or goodwill gesture to calm an upset customer. To now claim it was unrelated feels disingenuous. 4) Most importantly, they have not addressed the core problem at all: the staff refused to start making the coffee until their system showed the payment had gone through, even though I showed clear proof on my banking app in real time. They mention the fresh coffee was completed ‘within 3 minutes’ of me approaching the counter, but that misses the point entirely. The preventable delay was the extra time spent waiting for your system to confirm payment when I had already shown undeniable proof on my phone. Starting the remake immediately upon seeing that proof would have saved the exact 1–2 minutes that caused me to miss my train. If the barista had started the moment I showed proof (as almost every other café would), none of the subsequent frustration would have happened. I originally gave two stars because I appreciated the eventual gesture to my daughter. After this reply, which denies basic facts I experienced and ignores the actual cause of the delay, I no longer feel that generosity is warranted. I’ve now left one star so others are aware that “system confirmation” is valued above common-sense customer care, even when proof of payment is right in front of the staff. I’m not asking for anything else, just wanted you to understand why this has gone from mild frustration to genuine disappointment.

My husband and I thought we would just drop in for something quick to eat. Omg talk about a hidden gem. The food was awesome. Mine looked so pretty I didn’t want to mess it up. But it was so yum. My husband was speechless couldn’t talk just wanted to eat his food. Mine was Burnt Caramel toast. My husband Eggs Benny. Please do your self a favour and go try it out. We will definitely be back.

Quaint cafe with extremely friendly/attentive staff. The food was delicious, affordable and generous. (we ordered the truffle benedict, eggs your way and chicken schnitzel). The staff constantly checked on our table and served us with friendly smiles. Lovely place to take the family for a lunch date!

Cafe is now under new management. The new owners have released a new 100% halal brunch menu that is both beautiful and very tasty. Must try cafe if you are in Revesby.
