Cafe on Alfred

Was driving around to find a good afternoon coffee for clients of mine. With most cafes being shut by 1.30pm Cafe on Alfred was a godsend. The owner David is most welcoming and very enthusiastic. Happy to support local businesses like this and you should too!

It is the best coffee that I have tasted there. The food is delicious and the service is fast. perfect stop for breakfast or lunch delicious delicious and at a fair price beautiful place to take a break.

The new owners have taken over and are kicking goals already. I had a bacon and egg sandwich was full, cooked well, fast and tasty. We also had the roast pork rolls - it was also both generous with filling and made fresh to order. The coffee was made and served exactly as I requested, and it was a great price. It was great to see freshly made food being prepared and served, without having to ask. Overall, an excellent place, with great friendly service. Side note: Kind of cool being served coffee by Santa too, I might add! Definitely recommend.

A fantastic little gem where you can come and get good food an exceptional coffee while waiting for your vehicle to be repaired locally( as in my case) or for your lunch etc if you work nearby. Staff are friendly and very helpful! Thank you for a great experience!!😀
