Bellevue Park is a dog-friendly park in Bellevue Hill. Just 550m away, Oh’Brian Café is a nearby spot to stop in after your walk.
Dogs must be under effective control and on a leash at all times in all public places, except in designated off-leash areas. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's playground equipment and food preparation areas, from school grounds, child care centres, and indoor shopping centres. Dog faeces must be removed immediately. (Source: Woollahra Council — Walking Your Dog, woollahra.nsw.gov.au.)
Bellevue Park is one of the highest points in Woollahra municipality and provides spectacular views of Sydney Harbour and South Head to the north, and Bondi Beach to the east. The playground has various equipment for all ages including a climbing net and slippery slide. It is adjacent to the Bellevue Hill Public School. Worth checking out just for the views
Bellevue Park is NOT as visitor friendly. It used to include a wonderful walk around the hill with Bondi and Rose Bay on display and the opportunity to sit and rest/gaze at the views. Woollahra Council in their 'wisdom' have taken away all but three seats which are all together and two thirds of the path. Improvements are NOT!
A lovely quaint park seated at the top of the Bellevue Hill hill. It has a beautiful view all the way to Boni Beach on the one side as well as the Harbour on the other. There are a number of benches with tables and a play area with climbing equipment for the kids. The park is adjacent to Bellevue Hills Public School so the kids use the play facilities before & after school as well as at recess.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
