What people say
Its a small park with just two football fields. There are community toilets as well. Parking is only on the street next to train line. The park is on a higher ground so normally remains dry. It remains windy there too.
Small limited stocked canteen. No bbq albeit only one game played on the day i was there
Very good ground to play soccer /cricket or any other sports. There is two net for cricket practice as well Kids play ground also available Road side parking Toilets mostly remain close.
I have played lots of cricket matches on this ground, the best part is its availability, specially later part if the day. Also this ground drains so quickly and ready little time after rain. This has cricket training nets which are little bit hidden behind the toilets and has just enough space for fast bowlers to run and bowl. This place is frequently used by junior soccer teams during winter season but mainly in the morning and mostly available after midday. It has plenty of roadside parking, very close to Rooty Hill train station. There are toilets but not sure if open other than booked/scheduled games. It has a small kids play area too.
My son & I come here to kick the ball around, have a walk and play some cricket in the nets. There is lights but do not get turned on automatically. Only a 5 min drive from our home. Great park.
