So great to see this tribute to Anita, just down the road from her former home.
Small park that memorialises the all too short life of local nurse, Anita Cobby. The grass land is fairly well maintained but the garden areas could do with a little more love and attention. Well done to Blacktown Council for helping us to remember her.
It's a pleasant little park, nice place to stroll would or at least it would be if it didn't make it impossible not to think about the poor girl the place memorialises. It has a nice shrine to poor Anita and from the time you see the sign you want to pay your respects. It's a nice place but it's sad to visit for anyone who knows the story
