Surprisingly very good! Texan parmigiana was great. Slightly overcooked but still delicious. Prices were great and beer was cold. What else can you ask for on a Friday

Bidwill Hotel. It was my first time here in years. Came in to meet a group of friends for a fun night of laughs and Karaoke. Well the food was average. Reminded me of something you get at a truckstop. It wasnt bad by any means. It just wasnt fantastic. We were left hungry afterward. There was an extremely aggressive female staff member behind the bar. We heard her telling patrons off and berading them for hanging out together. No one in the group was intox. Then went back behind the bar to yell at a man about his beer as she had poured the wrong one. That one ended in the man paying for both beers! She then came to us and had a go. Id managed to lock in a major on a feature and we were excited. She came over and was extremely rude. Yelling at us to SHUT UP! so we said sorry explained why we high fived each other n remained to see the rest of the feature but stayed quiet. Next minute she was back again. This time flicking her hands at all of us telling us we cant be around each other and to get out. I questioned her motive and she replied with covid restrictions. I kindly explained to her they no longer applied and she kicked my friemds out and left me there because im guessing the bets i had on the machine. So i withdrew my funds and theirs that id won and approached her at the bar! I asked what was the problem really? As there was no way a group of people being happy could truely be the problem! She simply snarled at me. So i left! For someone who was forming a first opinon of the place since renovations and with a group of people. It wasnt the smartest move. (Revenue for 8 meals and over $1000 spent at the bar not to mention what went through the pokies), left that night and thanks to that staff member... wont be returning or becoming regulars anytime soon! Who wants to go out to have fun only to run into Trunchbull from Matilda?

Firstly we come to this pub as its local. We come to eat and partner plays pokies or the pool table. How disgusting for the bigger bigger figure security guard on duty on the 11/10/25 around 7pm make a comment Wether if we have finished our food or not. He came over to the kitchen staff and started to talk about my partner and I. This is very disgusting to hear. No respect we are paying for a good service and the place doesn't make you feel welcomed.

The great work done by the chef made our day special with mouthwatering food.  I loved the crispy fish & chips with salad 🥗 😋. The burger 🍔 was nice and tasty 😋.  Clean place, plenty of spice for seating.  Service on time, friendly staff. I Highly recommend this place for family and friends. I been a regular at this bistro for years, it's my go too when ever I go to eat. I must admit, I was abit upset they changed mangerment thinking it wasn't goin to be as good. But I must admit. It's even better than before. Thankgod. Lol coz I didn't wana change pubs.
