Cafe Raon

Coffee was excellent here - really deep flavour profile. They especially nailed the iced latte, which not many cafes do it well. My partner and I were also pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The chicken burger was very crispy. Overall an excellent experience and I would visit again.

Great food and drinks. Lovely staff. When one of staff found out that my son's drink was too hot for him he went and put some cold milk in it for him. I appreciate the extra effort staff go to there to make you feel welcome 😁

We had such a wonderful experience at Café Raon! The coffee here is truly some of the best we’ve had — rich, smooth, and full of flavour. The food was equally impressive, fresh and beautifully presented. What stood out the most was the staff’s warm and accommodating service. We ordered something from the lunch menu during breakfast hours, and they were more than happy to make it for us without any hesitation. That small act of kindness really showed their commitment to customer satisfaction. The overall atmosphere was cosy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. We left feeling happy and satisfied, and we’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended for both coffee lovers and foodies!

I first visited Cafe Raon during their renovation when they only offered coffee. It was so good then that I wanted to return and try their food too. Between the four of us, today we got to try a few different things. All the dishes were really good value and simply delicious, you could tell they use quality ingredients. We got the chicken schnitzel & chips - I was genuinely shocked at how fluffy and light the chicken was, especially when it was breast fillet. The chips were so good that my child said ‘better than Macca’s’: that’s possibly the highest compliment chips can attain. I had the caesar salad which was simple done well, I noticed the egg was poached(not hard boiled) to the perfect softness and ranch dressing was pleasantly creamy, not oily. We also ordered the prawn burger and smoked salmon poke bowl which were daily specials, both were tasty and hope we can return again to get another round of the prawn burger before it disappears. The cappuccino was a good as last time I tried, but the highlight was the drip coffee and iced matcha latte. The owner suggested oat milk for the matcha and it made the smooth, rich green tea so much better, leaving a fresh palette when often I found a lot of matcha latte would give me furry mouthfeel. This place is close to our family based in Sydney and we’re so glad we found a great go to spot.
