Dog rules

Dogs are welcome on-leash at Morreau Reserve, a Blacktown City Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.

I observed that the gate was open upon my entry but was subsequently closed when I attempted to exit. This occurred within a 15-minute timeframe, and I was then compelled to seek assistance from the Council to get me out.
