Chifley Park is a dog-friendly park in Lalor Park with an off-leash area where dogs can roam off lead.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at Chifley Park, a Blacktown City Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.
close to shops, good shades with playground. street parking which can be a problem in certain days due to chuch next door and very tight street. best to park across the Rd in the shopping centre and walk across. no toilets.
Chifley Park, appropriately named after a renowned Australian Prime Minister of the past. I do indeed like this park, which recently under went an overhaul of landscaping development. I appreciated what was in place 7 years ago but I must admit the new development has got rid of a lot of unnecessary brickwork and steps. It appears far easier to maintain and possibly prevent some unnecessary falls that could occur to foolish human behaviour. At one stage during the height of the COVID pandemic someone was actually camping in this place. And on another occasion I discovered a red fire extinguisher lying near the garden of remembrance amongst the rosemary bushes. Lalor Park never ceases to intrigue me, especially behaviorally. I would never like to find out or know who does what. Sincerely, an inhabitant of the area. Good Bye.
There's a nice Anzac war memorial and gardens And a 3 set 6 set 3 set and 2 set but it's brick paved so sketchy landing and it's right near skatepark like if U wanna just try some 'street'
Beautiful Park for locals.. Community Garden.. Skate Park.. Open Park and Memorial cared for by our Brian.
The area has a high crime rate, in particular robberies, drug & alcohol abuse. The addicts live in nearby dept of housing properties which surround the park and thereby make it dangerous to host important events
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
