Great park new opened 5th April 2018. Parking is all around the perimeter of the park. Dual flying fox, twin small swing, large round 3d swing, basketball court, large grass area wide bike path all the way round park for bikes, jungle climbing gym, fenced soft floor toddler play area, under cover tables x2 and BBQs toilet block and water bubbler at the flying fox with dog water bowl. The biggest attraction is the huge slide that you can see from all around. It is contained but is in regular use so hope no kid try and go up the wrong way as people even adults come down fast. Is still safe enough that a brave adult can still go down with a one year old if you hold on. The short wide flat slide looks tame but I seen it throw a few kids off at the bottom my daughter is 5yr and 15kg and didn't like it as the green rubber grips after coming off at the end. Would not cause any injury just need a parent at bottom or the kids is ready to put feet down and go from slide to run. Busy for a new park and early morning weekday. I suspect it will be busy this school holidays. Is a very new area so even the newest nav maps will likely not show it yet. Sunscreen is needed as not much shade until the trees grow. No cafes or any close shops at the moment so BYO food drink. The Maltese limestone cafe back in Schofields is amazing 119A railway terrace. All round great park and being on a hill it has great views of blue mountains and will likely be good for kite flying.
Moderately clean. Bags of rubbish laying around along with litter in bark big kids play area . They have small section for little kids - gates donβt work that well . Youβll be able to find parking . Nice walking space .
An okay playground. I didn't know that the big slide was removed years ago ! The cover photo must be changed as it's disappointing π The playground has bbq grills, picnic tables, toilets and a water fountain
Nice function park with kids playgrounds. Our favourite boasts the metal slide amongst rubber hills perfect for fun climbing The exercise workout equipment is great and lots of fun and still entertains my son. There is construction fencing off another area boasting a flying Fox Undercover tables and restrooms with lots of quiet street parking
It's the best park in the whole suburb. It has BBQs and covered sitting area. It has small kids as well as big kids playgrounds separately. It also has gym equipment for light exercises.
