Pogson Park is a park in South Hurstville. Dogs are generally allowed on a lead in NSW public parks unless signs say otherwise — but the rules here aren't confirmed, so check local signage before visiting.
Parks managed by Georges River Council are on-leash by default under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. We haven’t been able to confirm from a council source that this specific park is council-managed — it’s likely, but please check on-site signage or contact Georges River Council before visiting with a dog.
As a regular enjoyer of Pogson Park, I cannot stress the truly enlightening experience upon seeing the 2 park benches, several trees, and of course, that lovely sign. Additionally, the almost equally amazing Poulton Park is next door, what more could you ask for?
I achieved nirvana at pogson park and became enlightened to the almighty power of king pogson. A truly awakening experience
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
