Carss Park Cafe and Grill

My family loved our breakfast at By the Bay Cafe in Carrs Park. Generous portions, reasonable prices, and super friendly service. My daughter enjoyed the pancakes while we had the tasty eggs and hash browns. The park setting is beautiful, and the playground is a big bonus. Just remember to come early, as parking can fill up!

Unfortunately the staff let the place down. I believe there’s a new manager and I hope he can sort it out. My dogs on a lead, and I’m by myself…happily ready to order and pay then go and sit outside. Shouted at by young guy about my dog in the cafe ! I understand health regulations but I was just going to pay then step back outside. There was no reason to talk like that..very rude… most probably won’t go back.

Been here several times, always been served with happy faces and fresh and hot food, they got nice coffee as well.

Great setting. The food is awesome and beautifully presented. Slightly on the costly side. I find some of the staff friendly and warm, and some dismissive. I've had a few incidents over the years with staff that stick with me and make this a 4 rather than 5 place. Pity, because otherwise it's one of my favourite places.

Lovely location. Great service. Loved the halloumi with zatar and Lebanese bread!
