Bardwell Valley Parklands is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Bexley. You'll find shaded space nearby, while Bexley North Hotel is around 850 metres away for an easy post-walk drink.
Dogs are permitted on leash under Bayside Council’s dog policy. Dogs must be on a lead unless they are inside a designated off-leash area. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children’s play equipment and food preparation or eating facilities, except where the food area is on a public thoroughfare such as a road, footpath or pathway.
A great place to take a brisk walk away from the street traffic and shaded by the trees. You might even see a few of the local resident wildlife.
I am so lucky to be in walking distance to all this beautiful nature. There are a large variety of paths to walk down and lots of wildlife. It’s pretty much in the heart of Bexley making it very manageable to get to.
Absolutely love this Parklands. Only untouched nature strips in the area. Great for a run or walk. Some hidden mountain biking trails on the opposite side of the rivers as well. You might see water dragons and wild turkeys.
Great walk with the kids, some unexpected wildlife so keep your phone ready for pics!
It's a beautiful area especially from the houses and backstreets on the hills overlooking the amazing golf course and the city
