Shaw St Espresso

I love the coffee here. Even when I lived in Bexley North, I would still come here after work just for coffee. That’s how much I like it. A few weeks ago, I ordered coffee and a chicken wrap on Uber. The coffee was great. The chicken wrap was very salty. Still, I was hungry and had no other food, so I ate half of it and accepted my fate. Today, I decided to give the chicken wrap a second chance. Why? Because I love chicken wraps, i could have them everyday, and I believe in second chances. The coffee was good again. The chicken wrap, however, was NOT. One bite in and my mouth went straight to the ocean. I couldn’t even chew it. I cut the wrap into four pieces like I was doing a food experiment, hoping one part would be safe. It was not. Every bite tasted like a spoonful of salt. To the person who made the wrap: were you seasoning the chicken or preserving it for the apocalypse? It cost $14, and I couldn’t eat it. I am hungry and pissed.

Nice cafe. Great looking food for breakfast. Lovely looking toasties and treats in the cabinet. Unfortunately only had coffee this time. Lots of people coming and going so I’m sure the coffee here hits most people’s spot. For me the coffee wasn’t great 5/10 for long black, piccolo was 7/10.

This cafe deserves it's high star rating and I have no hesitation offering five stars. We shared coffee here before walking the Two Valley Walk through to Tempe Station. Good coffee, good vibe and attentive staff.

Food was excellent, coffee was great, wonderful staff with a friendly environment.

Been coming here with friends, and it’s always a great experience. The coffee is smooth and rich, never disappoints. Their food is fresh and delicious—big fan of the avo toast! 😝🤤The staff are super welcoming and make the place feel cozy. Definitely one of our go-to spots for a good catch-up over coffee!
