Hannaford Avenue Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Box Hill where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find toilets nearby.
Under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be on-leash at all times in all parks and public places. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's playground equipment and food preparation areas, from active sports fields during organised sport, public bathing areas, school grounds, and child care centres. Dog faeces must be removed immediately. (Source: The Hills Shire Council — Stay out of the Doghouse, thehills.nsw.gov.au.)
Beautiful Park and beautiful view. Proper hill park. Thanks to The Hills shire Council.
A nice new park but not much to do for younger kids. From 6 or 7 it would be amazing but not very accessible for little ones.
Nice local park for kids to play around. Great equipment and nice initiative from the council. Great opening day celebrations
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
