This is what a cafe should be! Western Sydney has the inner and city beat when it comes to true coffee and breakfast quality. The prices are better, parking is a breeze, and the food is consistently excellent. The fact that you can get quality eggs your way for only $11 speaks volumes about the value. Great menu selection and consistently high-quality food and presentation! I love going to Carter & G’s for brunch — the coffee is always top-notch. The chefs are quick to prepare the meals and you can really see the care they put into every component of each dish. Highly recommend!

A great local gem with amazing food and even better service. The meals are always fresh and delicious, and the staff make you feel right at home. The owner is unreal — she remembers every regular’s name and their usual order, which gives the place a real family vibe. Easily the best cafés in the area!

Carter & G’s is a quirky and cute café tucked away in a random strip in Canley Heights. The spot has a cozy, laid-back vibe that’s perfect for a casual catch-up or relaxed meal. Ordered the dirty matcha, baked eggs, and cheeseburger. The dirty matcha was really good, with a strong matcha and coffee blend that balanced each other perfectly. The baked eggs were lovely—tangy with runny eggs and toast toasted to perfection. The cheeseburger was a real standout: a fat, juicy patty grilled nicely with great char flavour, and the fries were super crispy. A hidden gem worth checking out! Highly recommend.
