Accredited Google Review ✅ I visited Rosford Park in NSW with moderate expectations, and while it did deliver on some aspects, it fell short in others. The park's natural beauty is undeniable - the lush greenery and meandering walking trails are lovely, and the lake is a great spot for a peaceful stroll. However, the overall experience was slightly marred by a few issues. Firstly, the playground area for kids was somewhat underwhelming. While the equipment was clean and well-maintained, it was surprisingly small and didn't offer much in terms of variety or challenge for older kids. My little one had fun, but it wasn't the most impressive playground I've seen. The dog park area was also a bit of a letdown. While it was nice to see a dedicated space for our furry friends, the fencing was somewhat flimsy and didn't seem very secure. I was a bit worried about my pup getting loose or slipping out. On the plus side, the park did have some nice picnic areas and BBQ facilities, which were clean and well-maintained. The walking trails were also lovely, with some nice scenic views of the surrounding area. Overall, Rosford Park is a solid 3.5 stars from me. While it has its strengths, it's not necessarily a standout in terms of uniqueness or exceptional quality. If you're in the area and looking for a quick park visit, Rosford Park will suffice. But if you're seeking something truly special, you might want to look elsewhere.
Great for long or short walks, For exercise or just for a stroll, Big open fields for ball games, and nice playground, With toilets and a workout area
This is a decent park. Set back from main roads and relatively easy to get to. There is a largish carpark there and plenty of on street parking. There is a stand there with a kiosk in the middle. It does have seating per se, just concrete formed stair like ledges. A special note to anyone that is larger in size, there are no stairs to get up on to the stand. From the ground to the first step it is about 600mm or 60cm, if your legs are not that strong, you may note be able to get up to the higher levels. The stand building also contains both men's and women's toilet facilities at the back. There are two rugby league fields here. The one in front of the stands has athletic tracks around it and a long jump track. The second field is hidden over the back of a small hill. There is also a walking track around the parameter of the field closet to the stands. There is currently some renovations going on here that when finished will see a workout area opened.
We use this oval for Little Athletics. The grounds are mostly well taken care of. The grounds are in a flood zone though so when it rains it’s wet for weeks. The playground is ok, could probably do with an upgrade though. The toilets are old and extremely basic and a bit gross. They’re dark and dingy. Parking is basic as well.
We usually walk here because it's the closest park to our home. It's a large and open park with a newly built walking track in the west. Though I still think they should construct more meandering pathways within the park, at least south of Prospect Creek (the riparian zone). Because not everyone wants to walk in the enclosed riparian woodland in the north. So please, continue laying the walk track from the west to the east on the open areas of the parkland south of Prospect Creek.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
