Lizard Log is a fantastic spot for a day out with family or friends! The playground is well-maintained, offering a variety of activities for kids of all ages to enjoy. The picnic areas are spacious, with plenty of seating and shaded spots, perfect for a relaxing meal or celebration. I also appreciated how dog-friendly the park is, making it easy to bring along furry companions for a walk or playtime. The restrooms were clean and conveniently located, which made the visit even more comfortable. The park’s natural beauty is truly calming, with scenic walking tracks and open spaces that make it ideal for picnics, leisurely strolls, or just unwinding in nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful escape without venturing too far from the city.

This is one of the best outdoor spots in the area. The massive open fields are perfect for picnics, ball games or just stretching out under the sun. The BBQ and picnic facilities are clean, well-spaced and easy to access, making it great for family gatherings or weekend catch-ups. The walking and cycling trails weave through beautiful bushland, giving you that quiet, nature-filled escape without driving far from home. The playground is a real highlight for kids, with natural timber structures, water features and plenty of room to climb and explore. There’s loads of parking, good shade throughout the day, and the whole place feels peaceful, safe and very well maintained. Whether you’re after exercise, relaxation or a fun day with the family, Lizard Log is always a reliable and enjoyable choice.

Located at Horsley Drive & Cowpasture Road, Abbotsbury, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. A wonderful place for the whole family. Would highly recommend. It has great amenities including toilets, BBQ facilities including seating, a nature themed children’s playground, scenic walking trails and cycling 🚴‍♀️ trails of various lengths . Loop paths run throughout the site, perfect for walking, bike riding and scooters 🛴. The playground was designed to blend in with the natural environment . It has a climbing wall, slides 🛝, duel and single flying fox, balancing beams, giant swings and a water play deck. The wood carved animals that decorate the playground were made using wood salvaged from the area. Thumbs Up! 👍👍👍

It is a good park when the kids or play together, i am parent and belive all kids should play and be friendly with each other, but of course there are some kids that are just rude and believed they own the place because of how they were raised. Group of 3 boys age 4 to 7 took over a slide and started to pick on and make fun of other kids and wouldn't let them play on the slide. Very sad that this is the world we live in that parents cant teach their kids to be nice to others.
