Great wide open grass area for everyone. Shaded seated area for eating and gatherings. Have taken soccer coaching pre-season clinics for juniors over the last few years. The open space allows for a variety of pastimes. Set in the middle and hidden by the very leafy green suburban paradise. Busy roads exist at the boundaries but the park is protected by a very quiet side street that borders The very busy Quarry Road. You wouldn’t even know there was traffic. There is a great carpark that does fill up pretty quickly on weekends and late summer afternoons. Limited street parking but still if you drive there’s a good chance you’ll get a car spot. Also during some periods of the calendar year the carpark is empty in the early mornings where I’ve taken my son for driving lessons. More like early car/vehicle/driving acclimatisation. All in all a very well kept open wide and green park. Great for everyone.

A fairly large sports area comprising of a baseball field and cricket field plus batting practice cages. It also has a graded hillside behind the baseball field good place for a bike ride just not the best after rain as it gets rather waterlogged. There is a small play area for the kids plus toilets and picnic tables. Toilets are only open during daylight.

Great park, excellent facilities, cricket nets are in great condition, oval is nice and big and well maintained. Baseball diamond is in good nick. Lots of covered spaces to stay out of the elements. Toilets are clean and comfortable and always stocked. Good little playground with a sun shade over the monkey bars.

Ruined open space that had beautiful trees and vegetation and was wonderful for walking dogs & jogging. Now there’s more exercise equipment and children’s play equipment than will ever get used. Lots of cement dropped in all over the place useless huge pieces of stone that suit no purpose than to get rid of the grass. Huge tall fences put in front of all the tries. What a total disaster and terrible waste of tax payers money. Looks like North Ryde is set to be another concrete jungle like Rhodes! And guess what you dug our the whole area Removed the grass which was a really good quality grass then planted new grass back. How stupid. Typical council planning
